  • Answer:

If the computer comes with a CD burner, that is the easiest way to do it. If it has USB capabilities, you can purchase a cheap "thumb" drive that is large enough to hold all of them and transfer them to that. Kmart was recently selling 1GB thumb drives for $15.00. Email is not a good choice, but posting them to a free public access photo place may be a solution. You can do this on sites like photobucket, snapfish, kodak gallery, etc. It will still take a long time if you have a slow IP service, though, so burning a CD is the best idea.

That's really easy to do. Just go to your local office supply store and buy a thumb drive or sometimes they call them flash drives or memory sticks or whatever. If you mention any of those names, they'll know what you're talking about. If you have 500 pictures you should probably get one that holds at least 1 GB. I don't know where you live, but you could probably get one in the $50. neighborhood or so - depending. Just take it home and plug it into one of the little USB Ports and you can transfer everything onto that.

Just get a flash drive, or else burn the pictures onto some CDs.
