How to download shared photos on Flickr?

How can I download my own photos from flickr?

  • So I'm an amateur photographer and been taking pictures for quite a while. A few weeks ago, my laptop got damaged and couldn't be repaired. All my work was on my laptop, though I uploaded a few of them to flickr. How can I save my own pictures to my new laptop from flickr? Is there a download tool or anything on flickr?

  • Answer:

If you have more than a few photos to download then I suggest using a third party app as Flickr does not have the facility for bulk downloading. Flick and Share is currently one of the best - http://www.flickr.com/services/apps/72157626907535946/ It's also worth noting that if you have a free account you will not be able to access your original sizes, only large sizes. To obtain the originals you need to either upgrade to a pro account ($25 ish per year) or order a DVD of them from Qoop - http://www.qoop.com/

Just right click on the full size image and choose "save as" or "save image as" in the drop down list. It is the easiest way and I do not know any other way. Hope that helps :D I am an amateur photographer too. But I currently do not have a camera. Also, some weeks ago I lost all of the images on my pc. It really sucks. Good luck ;)
