I opened an email attachment in word, edited it, and saved it...however, the document was saved as a temp file
-
It took forever to find the file, but when I finally located it in the temp folder, it was saved as ~%24nameofdocument.doc and it would not open. A message came up saying that Word needed to install a program, in order to view the file. I clicked OK to install this program...and it opened my document...but the document is demented and almost completely blank with weird icons on the 1st line. Any idea of what's going on?

Answer:
save the file to a new location then edit, dont edit when its in a temp folder.
