How to view the contents of the attachments in a message?

Why can I not view any incoming emails that have attachments. I can read the message (but not the attachment)?

You need to know what format the attachements are coming in. Right click them and check Properties. You will almost certainly need to Save the attachment, then open with a program (the one you just checked in Properties)
