Apparently the total limit for the attachments in Yahoo is 10MB. So if you surpass this number, your attachment will not go through. Also, sometimes if the attachments or photos etc. don't let themselves be attached to be in the attachment, it could mean that they have a virus in them, or something isn't right about them. But anyways, sometimes if you want to attach 5 attachments, that is your limit in Yahoo mail, it takes for ever for the pc to let them get attached, so try this, send one attachment at a time, or 2 at a time. Check to see how big these attachments are, if they are over 10MB will not go through. Another thing you can do is shrink your attachments so that they don't have as many KB or MB, and then the recipient will have to make them normal for viewing. Sometimes this is called a "zipper application" or a thumbprint of the original. But if you do all this and it stil won't let you attach attachment, then I suggest that you delete everything to do with Yahoo, go into control panel, under add or remove programs, and delete all the Yahoo stuff and then download it fresh, from the Yahoo messenger icon, or messenger rectangle on top right of the page, if attachment still won't go through, it is contaminated, and your computer won't let you attach it. You can try a Norton AntiVirus Scan, and spyware scans, see if that helps. Anyways if all fails, contact Yahoo, under "contact us" write your question and then they might provide some FAQs related to your subject, on bottom right they will ask did this solve your issue, your problem? And if it didn't let them know, there are options there, so you can pick: not even close!!! Then they will want you to write them a letter explaining in detail what your problem is, and what you have done to try and fix it, and but your yahoo email at the bottom of letter. So they can email you an answer. sometimes, when I tried to get help, a live technician came on line, in a conversation box and was asking me details and then looking some stuff up, and then telling me what to do. But if that is not sufficient just write yahoo a letter under "contact us"
