Why can't I download an attachment from Yahoo?

I can't download any doc or excel file attachment from my yahoo mail. Can you help me?

• I have a doc and excel file attachment. I click on the attachment, it opens the screen that says download attachment. I click on that, it takes me to the screen that says open, save, cancel. I click on either open or save and it just keeps throwing files from the earth to the folder and never counts down or ends. I try it in another place, it works fine. Why can't I download these files from my home only? I have tried the right click save as but IE7 apparently doesn't support it. I have tried saving it with the same result.

  Possibly a popup blocker or a spyware program is blocking the download. Check for any indication that your popup blocker is stopping the process If so, clicking on the popup bar will let the download take place. Good luck! cc
