Answer:
First you need to create a Desktop Folder - name it "Email Photos" (or whatever you like). To create a Desktop Folder, go to a clear space on your Windows Desktop, right-click your mouse for the menu, click "New", then click "Folder" - a "New Folder" icon will appear and you can name it then. Next go to your email program and open the mail that has the photo attachment. Right-click on the photo attachment and then click on "Save As" in the drop-down menu. The "Save Attachment As" window will open. You will see "Save in:" and then "My Documents" in the white box with the down arrow at the far right of the box. Click on the "Down Arrow" and you will see the new folder you created "Email Photos" in the list of folders. Click on "Email Photos" and your new folder will open. You will see at the bottom of this window "File name:" - the photo will probably already have a name which will be in the white box, but you can change it by deleting that name and typing in whatever name you want for the photo. In the "Save as type:" box you will see "Attachment" - leave that alone. Now just click on "Save". When you open your "Email Photos" folder, you will find your picture. Good Luck!

If you are using Yahoo Mail, all you need to do is right click on the picture (Thumbnail) and click "Save Picture As" or "Save Target As" and then select a location to place them. That's it.
