Can't send email with .mht file attachment?

I get an "Error Sending Message" when I try to send an email with a .mht file attachment. Has anybody run into a similar problem? If so, have you found a fix for it? Thanks in advance for your help.

Answer:
In case you are sending a large MHT file, create a compressed file folder on the desktop and drag it inside before sending the zipped folder as your email attachment.

I experienced the same. At one time, it said something about connection. I tried both - Beta and Classic. None of them worked. It has to be file type I believe.

Is it an executable file? If so, you won't be able to send it.

the problem is the extension .mht isn't recognized by your e-mail program it pro belly thinks its a virus and don't send it. the way around is simple, rename the file to .doc tell the recipient to rename the file to .mht by.
