Why can't I get an attachment download from a yahoo email?

  • I clicked the attachment paperclip, the word download and the picture icon to download. It says it downloaded, but the download no longer shows up in the lower left corner and when I check my download folder, nothing is there.

    I am having the same problem with the "New" Yahoo mail system. To overcome this problem for now, I am forwarding my attachments to another email address and downloading it from there. I have another Yahoo account that is still on the old interface and it can download attachments without any problem. Hope they fix this glitch soon!!

I am having the same issue. I've tried to download attachments with Firefox and IE8 .. same result. The only recourse is to forward the email to another service, like if you have a gmail account. Then you can grab the file.

I am having the same problem atm. Don't know why, it started yesterday. It doesn't say it has been downloaded, instead it doesn't do anything, and i have repeated the process 10 times. Hope they fix it soon.

It seems many of us are having these problems. I've been trying for 2 days now to attach stuff and I get lucky every once in a while, but for the most part nothing works. I'm also having a hard time downloading attachments I've been sent. gmail, here i come!

It seems to be the latest Yahoo glitch, anything attachment related seems to be very much pear shaped. Again nothing on the suggestion board but they have been notified.
