Cannot open Yahoo email attachment in Internet Explorer.

Anyone having problems with AOL & Yahoo email compatibility?

When I access my Yahoo email account through Internet Explorer, I have no problems. But when I access the same Yahoo account through my AOL browser, I cannot open any attachments. After I get the OK to "Download Attachment", a message pops up about a URL not being found. I'm also having problems forwarding attachments received at Yahoo to my AOL account. PDF files seem to come through OK, but JPG and Word DOC files lose their titles and file extensions. This happens even when I access Yahoo email through IE. Seems to me there's a compatibility issue between AOL and Yahoo, although I've had both accounts for many years and have never experienced this before the last few weeks. Any suggestions?

I'm sorry you're having this problem and I don't have an answer, but I am also experiencing the same trouble and would really like to hear from anyone with a fix for it, before I start meddling with settings and screw the whole mail thing completely!
