Why don't the pictures show in the emails I receive?

Pictures do not show when receiving emails, why?

  • I receive emails at work on outlook and can view these pictures just fine. I send the email to my home address and I can't see the pictures. Right clicking and choosing "show picture" does nothing.

  • Answer:

Probably at home you're using a browser to view your email, and the picture is embedded in the message, not sent as attachment. What happens is that the browser doesn't render the picture so you can't see it. From Outlook, right click on the picture to capture and save it. Then send the picture to your home email as attachment (Insert File, not Insert Picture).

most cases, this depends on image data or picture capacity. sending picture is limited in terms of capactiy. try zipping your picuture before sending it to your home. or save the picture into your pc hardisk before opening it. install image viewer. you can download it at 9down.com. good luck

I feel your pain! The same thing is happening to me. Unfortunately, I do not have the answer...but I did post the question again. The "mine works fine" answer you got didn't cut it for me. I just wanted you to know you're not alone!

I don't know but if you ask me it works fine. I send pictures to my friends and it works perfectly fine.
