Why can't I attach attachments?

Yahoo mail attachments? recent problems?

  • with the recent changes in yahoo webmail, i cant put attachments in my emails....the attach files button does nothing....anyone else?

    Hey you might try this....I was having problems too and Michael M. gave me the solution to my situation. Give it a shot, who knows........ Michael M.=At some point, your IE default settings were changed. This could have happened by downloading the new IE beta, or who knows how. To fix it, go to the page where you receive the message and attach your photos, but don't click the "Attach" button. Instead, click Tools-->Internet Options. Select the Security tab, and then adjust the security level slider so the "Default Level" button is highlighted. Click this button and click Apply. This should resolve your problem.

I've been having the same problem , ... tried symantec online scans for virus and security .. seems ok, .. tried firefox . .same problem, tried different mail, .. same problem. Must be an unknown trojan or virus yet ... can anybody help ?

Try using it with Firefox. I have the beta and the attach button works fine for me.

The attachment button works fine but I can't send attachments. Like the thing doesn't stop loading (you know when its proccesing the attachment or something).

I haven't noticed any recent changes with Yahoo Mail.
