How do I recover an attachment to an email that I made edits to and did not save to my hard drive?
-
Will the attachment stay in a temporary file somewhere that I can recover? The edits were saved, but mistakenly not to our hard drive.

Answer:
this is a tough one. If you made edits to it, but never hit save, those changes are likely gone. I assume it's an attachment you received? if you just need the original attachment before the edits, and it's not in your email still, then there's a good chance it's in a temp folder. you might try yahoo desktop search to find it. http://desktop.yahoo.com that will index everything on your computer and give you easy access, being able to search the body or title of the file for anything. if it's something you SENT, definitely try your sent folder if you want the original. good luck!
