I cannot attach any of my files to email.

Why wont my email let me attach files?

  • When I try to attach files it just keeps trying to attach but it takes real long to do it. I attached some files yesterday and by 3 o'clock this morning it still had not attached the files.

    My daughter had this same issue. So I watched over her shoulder. She would work on a document, save it and then go to email it. Unfortunately, she didn't close the file in the program that was editing it. I had her do that and the upload went fine. Give that a try. Another possibility is a the need to delete your browser's temporary files (aka browser cache). To do this in Internet Explorer go to Tools> Internet Options> Delete Files.

these are some possible reasons..the mail server has timed out from reading the files(because of the large size),computer problems causing the process to hang up(which i doubt)

check the size of files you want to attach every email account have a limit and that is why you can not do it ,exe: yahoo e-mail only let you attach 10 mb files.
