How do I delete my attachments?

How do I delete attachments in my yahoo email box?

• Who-ever designed the interface for viewing and working with attachments in yahoo email has an evil sense of humor. How can they give us the attachment options page with no 'delete' button? I have a sh_t-load of attachments that I can't really organize or dispose of in a timely manner because there's no delete attachment option.. Is that because they are still attached to saved emails? Maybe I should just delete every message I've ever saved, (whether I want to or not) in order to clean-up my attachments? If you know a way to delete, download to my pc, or other-wise deal with this, I'm open to all practical answers.

  Unfortunately, you're right... no delete button. So if you want the email without the attachment, copy and paste the email if the content is important enough to save, then delete. I agree with you... there should be a way to just delete the attachment and leave the email intact. But to be honest, I don't think I've ever had that ability, either with web-based mail or POP mail. hmmmm You'd think there'd be a way.
