I cannot attach any of my files to email.

I can't attach files to my yahoo email?

  • i'm trying to attach word docs to my outgoing yahoo email and no matter what browser i use, it doesn't work. this does work for my gmail account from the same computer and for other yahoo users using the same computer. I can attach and upload the same files to other sites, just not for my personal yahoo account. I also cannot open files i have saved in my yahoo folders. I've deleted some old files to increase the space of my account but this has not worked either. please help. many thanks.

Been having the same issue for about 24 hrs. Started with not being able to attach files, now I cannot even open a pdf file that was sent to me. I tried opening & attaching files using my yahoo email on a different computer, without any luck. I even started a new yahoo email account, that did not work. Has anyone been in touch with the tech department. Is this something yahoo is working on?? I frickin Hope SO!!!!!!!!!

same issues with attachments from several accounts, two different machines with pdf, doc or jpg,,,why is it every time Yahoo says it's better and faster it slows down and there is no customer service account or blanket information except "Oops.!..Yahoo has experienced..." Oops is right almost headed back to to my non Yahoo address

I'm stuck as well with the same problems, yet an old yahoo email account from 10 years ago is opening and sending attachments know problem. I'm having to forward to that account to open and then forward email for client from my old one.... It's a pain in the **** and I'm about to open a Gmail account

Same here. I need to upload 512kb file, but nothing happens when I try to attach files. I have been using yahoo email for more than 8 years and unfortunately can't quit using it since will miss emails from ppl who know this mail. It's a shame that one of the best email services (if not the best) can't fix little bugs like this! took me 5 secs to upload via gmail... :/

I've been having the same problem for about 24 hours now. However, just a few minutes ago, I opened my browser in IE instead of Chrome, and I could attach. Perhaps if you try IE, it will work. It seems to be working for me (fingers, toes and eyes crossed!).

I am having the same problem, I can attach files in my older account (which for some reason has a blue banner at the top) but not in my new yahoo account (which has a purple banner at the top). I also cannot view attachments either

Me either. Started yesterday morning. Have a ticket in to tech support but no answer yet. Only on 1 account, if I switch to another account on same computer, works flawlessly.

I am having the same issues on all Yahoo accounts. Can't open attachments that i used to be able to open, and can not attach anything to my emails.

Same here, cannot attach or open in either Firefox or Internet Explorer. Gmail works fine, so does Windstream.
