Why can't I attach attachments?

I cant get some pictures to attach to my e-mail, is yahoo having problems with attachments?

    Yahoo could be having a problem, but it also could be just fine. It depends on your connection speed, the size of the picture you're trying to upload, and the activity on the Yahoo server where the image is being sent to. If the attachment doesn't exceed the per email limit (10 meg for free Yahoo mail; 20 meg for Yahoo Mail Plus) it might be just a matter of patients. See link in Source(s) for more info. I had this problem before. I was attempting to attach 3 pictures. I found out later that the combined file total was to large to attach at one time. I got around this problem by attaching one picture at a time to the message. After all that, my email got returned because it was to large for the other inbox!
