How do I delete photos from email?

In email a section under list of folders calld search shortcuts my photos my attachments how do i delete these

• the section my photos and my attachments in search shortcuts under list of folders in yahoo email is full of photos and attachments that have been sent to me over the years, it contains photos and graphics from any attachment sent over the years and i would like to delete these if they are taking up space. there seems to be no facility to delete these only to scan and save to computer. what is this section and how do i clear it.

  I found this out yesterday. apparently you have to delete the email which has these attachments connected to it. If you go to the my photo section and click on the title of the pic, if Ive remembered correctly it will open the email with that/those attachments, you can then decide wether you want to delete that mail. I freed up lots of mail yesterday. On the other hand, if you want to keep all of your old mail, then it looks as though the MY PHOTO etc will be there always.
