How can i send an email (yahoo) to a cell phone?

i want to send a text message to a cell phone from my email at yahoo. how can i do that. is this possible?

I dont think you can. Normally you have to send a text from the cell phone website.

First you have to set you phone and pc for e mail alerts so that you will recieve alerts on your cell when someone messages you on your pc,then after that you can send and recieve messages through you fone. I find them a bit expensive and not very good but yes it is ok to do this. The two answers above are wrong at least in the UK you just set your pc to send them to the cell.
