I am trying to check my work emails from home. how do i go about it?

If you use an internal exchange server and your IT department doesn't give you outside access, you can't "check" your work e-mails from home. What you CAN do is set up Outlook to automatically forward all e-mails to your home e-mail account, and then just toggle that on and off every night (that's what I do).

Hi Nick, It would be best to ask your employers this one. Do you have the pop, imap or smtp settings? That's what you will need, unless your company has a form of webmail. Once you have that information, it's simply a matter of setting up the right browser or program. What program are you planning to use?

It depends on how your employee sets up its email system. They may allow you to access it through a POP3 or IMAP account (the details of which you'd set up in email software like Outlook or Outlook Express). You would most likely need to have your work's permission to access it, as their own IT security settings might forbid access from a 'remote location'. Why not email the IT guy at work and ask them if they can help you?

Your company probably has uyour email connected through Outlook or some similiar program. Just go to your internet providers home page you should be able to check your office emails from there.
