How can I close my e-mail address?

How can i close down a yahoo email address please.?

You will actually have to contact Yahoo and ask them to close the account.

Stop using it.Also stop opening junk.Just delete.You must have accepted the sending of it from somewhere and your address is now in the system.

Normally it will close on its own if you do not use it for six months or so, but do not go back and have a look, Or you could change the name, add a number or an extra letter or two, so it is different, then tell all the people you want to know and start from there

go to account, then go to settings and it will give u the option to close sub account, good luck
