How to I stop receiving hacked emails from my contacts?

How do I stop receiving hacked emails from one of my contacts? The contact has already deactivated her yahoo account and I have listed her yahoo eamil as spam but, I keep getting hacked emails under her yahoo account. How can I stop this?

Answer:
If you are sure that account is closed, Michele, then treat any mail from it as the spam that it is. You can mark that mail as spam, and it will go to your 'spam' folder from now on; or you can block that address. Look for the 'Options' link at upper right corner of mail screen and click on it Options /mail options Click on 'spam' in the list on the left. Then in 'Blocked Email Addresses,' enter the E-mail address you wish blocked, in the box after 'Add a blocked address' and click on the 'add' button, then click on 'save changes' at top left of screen. You will never get mail from that address again.
