Junk emails from my hotmail account are being sent to ppl on my contact list - How can I stop it?

I've had 2 ppl complain. Do I have to change my email account? How can I stop it? How can I stop it happening in the future?

Answer:
The most likely cause is that spammers have your password. Most of the time they obtain those through phishing spam. Change your password. Spyware or virus are also possibilities. Scan your computer for those.
