They will never know they are blocked HOWEVER, depending on the server the now blocked emails will either be deleted before they get to your email OR like in my servers case, all blocked emails will come directly into the delete folder and I will still see them there. In this case when I try to permanently delete them, I will still see the opened email. This is how my Outlook Express works. But if you block someone from a Yahoo or Hot mail site, you will never know they sent you anything because it destroys the email before you even see it.

They will not know my brother in-law spends hours sending me and 500 other people email since he retired It drove me crazy I also got a virus from opening up one of his emails So I blocked him. He should be spending his time fishing I mean at the lake instead of on his butt emailing.

No they will not be notified ,when they send you an e-mail it then will tell them it did not go thru or it is not allowed,it might tell them it has been blocked.
