Now I have 3 unread emails in my inbox but there is now mail there...how do I get these email notifications re?

my yahoo mailbox says i have 3 unread emails in my mailbox... when going to my inbox there is NO mail there..how do I retrieve these mails or get the notifications to only say when I have mail ??? not to always say I have 3 unread in my box??..??? have not recieved any answeres to my problem yet

First, be sure that there are no unread emails in any OTHER folders you have that might be triggering this. But normall, this is caused a old or bad cache file. Clear your history, temporary files (be patient) & cookies, then restart the computer and retry.
