Virus on my DELETED email account?
-
i deleted my yahoo email account (and made a new one) because it kept sending out random emails to my whole contact list, but i've been told by friends that even after i've deleted my account they're still receiving emails from me? how can i stop this, the account doesnt exist anymore and ive done virus checks on my laptop and its found nothing

Answer:
It is not a virus. Someone copied your address book by hacking into your account. They can continue to use it with ANY FROM ADDRESS. There is no way to stop it. The address does not have to exist. ʎəɿʞɹɐq ̊ ͜͡● ̊
