Why can't I receive an email from a contact?

These days my email cant sent and receive emails but only receive spam and scam emails?

• Hi, everyone i admit that last time i replied a scam email and since then my email account cant receive and sent emails anymore. Instead, i receive many spam and scam emails everyday. the email i'm using is very important to me and i dont wanna to change email address. is there any method to fix the problem?~ thanks~

  if you are on beta switch back to classic go to options select switch back to classic or go to this link if that did not work for you http://cm.my.yahoo.com/switch as for they spam just be sure to mark it as such go to options then spam and select to block address when you mark it as spam hope this was helpful and good luck
