Can I delete my entire inbox and start over?

I have over 131,000 emails in my inbox?

  • Is there a way to just delete all of these without having to go through each one and check them and delete them? Can someone from Yahoo just delete everything in my inbox? I just want to start over with my same email address, but I haven't been on for a long time, and now there are tons of email, some say from January of 2009, which that date isn't even here yet. I tried calling yahoo, but I don't actually get to speak to anyone. So, I would appreciate any help. Thanks! Angie

  • Answer:

Increase the number of Emails displayed per page to get more at a time. 1. Click Options, Mail Options at the top right of your Yahoo Mail page. 2. Click on General Preferences. 3. Go to the "Message Results per page section. 4. Click the blue down arrow and select 200 (maximum). 5. Go to the bottom of the page and click Save. Go back to your In-Box page and scroll down to the bottom of the first page. Click "Check All" (this will place a check mark in all of the Emails on this page) then click the Delete button. Zoom, first page gone. Go to each page and repeat this process.
