Unblocking A Ear That Is Blocked?

OK so I've asked the question before but I only got 1 answer. I have a blocked ear, my left one. this has been going on for a week but about 4 days ago it unblocked. When I blow my nose it clears, and when I lie on the blocked ear in bed it clears as well. Also since this started I have been blowing my nose more frequently which is unlike me, only once or twice a day, now its much more. Does anyone know if my ear will come right or if I should see a doctor, and I hate seeing doctors, I get really scared. Could this be a sinus infection??

I went to the hospital for something similar. They said if I waited any longer I probably would have lost hearing in that ear. It's bascially an ear plug of wax shoved deep inside your ear drum, messing everything up. Stay away from q-tips it can build onto the wax. It hurts to get it out but it might be nesscary to go get it checked out.
