How long will the post office keep the package?

I keep getting fake emails purportedly from the post office and ups telling me my package has been shipped - w?

  • These emails have links to legit-looking sites, but bogus tracking numbers. What are these? They don't ask for any personal info, so I don't think they're phishing for anything. Does anyone know anything about these?

  • Answer:

I've had them before. Never click any link included in the e-mail, as soon as you do you let them know that e-mail address is monitored

either its a scam but im guessing some one may have accidentally(or purposely) used your email when they placed an order on something. the best thing to do is probably to go to ups customer service and email them about it. they should be able to help you.

It's a nasty virus that is going around. DO NOT open these messages and NEVER click on any attachments or links. If you have you need to run an up to date virus/malware scan ASAP
