Yahoo mail spam issue?

SPAM Yahoo as the supplier of our E mail address Should be protecting us and not allowing its free issue?

    Yahoo sadly cannot do anything about these scams. The messages come from computers which are taken over by hackers and used for this purpose. It is almost impossible to catch these people. The main thing is for us to be careful not to fall for their scams. Don't answer just delete them Good luck and be careful

If you are getting loads of spam emails, it's probably because you inadvertently signed up to receive them. I hardly get any spam emails because I am careful what I sign up for.

I agree with Vivi. You signed up for "free this," and "give-away that", and "yes, send me an email with this free again." People tend to forget how many times they leave their email address, and then scream at Yahoo when they get spam. I rarely get spam any more, 1 a day maybe, because I simply won't leave my email address ANYWHERE! Blaming the world's largest free mail system for a world-wide glut of spam is not productive. Yahoo doesn't produce spam, spammers do, and they are mostly teenage boys in Nigeria.
