How to stop mail from going to spam folder?

How can I stop a porn website from sending me spam?

  • I have Outlook Express as my email. Every day I get about 15 spam emails from from a porn site that I gave my email address to several years ago. This has been going on now for almost 4 years (!!!). After 3 years I couldn't deal with having to erase their numerous emails from my computer every day, so I sent them an email telling them to STOP. Of course, this email was ignored and the spam continued every day. My question is: Why are these people so stubborn and insistent on sending me unanswered mail? When is this EVER going to stop???!!! If I could do something legally, believe me, I would RIP THEM TO PIECES. I (stupidly) erased my spam folder years ago (can I get it back?), so I'm forced to sort out all my good mail from this spammer's junk every single day. Why is this site spamming me consistently? Is it something I'm doing that's indicating to them that I am still interested after so many years? My Outlook Express is set up so that when I click on their spam to select and erase it, it shows its content in a separate window below. Could this be the problem? Is this the equivalent of reading the email, and they are being told that I'm reading them, and so they send me more?

  • Answer:

How about using your mail options to block the address(es)? It would take the same amount of effort as deleting them.
