How can I locate where a yahoo account was made?

Were the emails below sent by yahoo?I just got 2 eMails tHat some changes were made to my yahoo account. ?

  The only time I have received these notices, they were legitimate - I had changed my password and also my alternate mail. But - It sounds as if your account WAS hacked, and someone else changed both your password and the alternate e-mail for password changes. Immediately click each of these links in the mails and follow the steps to verify that the account is yours, and change again. Start with the alternate mail notice, or the hacker will know you have changed the password. Then change to a very strong and long password - at least 12 characters, a mix of letters, capitals, numbers, symbols and punctuation. Start with a sentence you will remember, and make many substitutions. Then change the secret questions and answers to ones only you will know - Yahoo allows you to invent your own questions so the answers will be more meaningful. If you are reluctant to click the links in these mails, use the standard Yahoo links instead. In case of a hacked Yahoo account, where you cannot sign in, (a changed password and/or secret questions), the Account Verification department offers two ways to contact them: 1.
