How do I make Yahoo my short cut on my desktop?

How do I make sure an 'alert' message from 'Yahoo' is real? I received one that says I'll be 'cut off'!

• Message said it was from Yahoo and that 'my yahoo page' had been used to 'send' Spam messages and I needed to answer 'the attached' questions, or Yahoo would have to cancel me out. I will not provide any real 'ID' type info if I'm not sure who is asking. Ebay has a 'Spoof' page where I can send the 'junk' that keeps showing up, which is supposedly sent from them. Does Yahoo have this type of aid?
