How do I block spam on my email?

DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO BLOCK EMAIL FROM BRITISH LOTTERY COMMISSION. TRIED SPAM BUT DOESNT work.STILL GET THEM

  • EVEYTIME I CHECK MY EMAIL I HAVE EMAIL FROM LOTTERY COMMISSION STATING THAT I WON MONEY OR WAS LEFT MONEY. THESE IDIOTS ACTUALLY EXPECT ME TO EMAIL THEM MY PERSONAL INFO. I HAVE TRIED WRITING THEM BACK ON MANY, MANY, MANY OCCASIANS BUT THEY DONT SEEM TO GET THE IDEA. I'VE TRIED SPAMING THEM BUT I CONTINUE TO GET EMAILS. ANY HELP ON HOW TO PERMANTELY BLOCK THEM WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

    You could set up a personal filter, so that the word "lottery" in the subject line (and/or body) will trigger an action that redirects it past the inbox and into whatever folder you choose----such as bulk or trash. On mail page, click "options" (upper right)----then scroll to and click "filters". On that page, click "add" and set it up. I've had better luck by NOT "matching case". When finished---click "add filter".

Delete don't open the emails.

I tried spam also it did not work, but what did work is when I told them I had reported them for fraud and a scam. They nolonger send them to me. LOL

Do you know how to type without pressing the CAPS LOCK?! You said you've tried "spamming them but you continue to get emails." Well, you can't spam them, and every time you open one of those pieces of junk, to say nothing about trying to "unsubscribe" or "reply" you trigger a notice to the spammer, who then has your ACTUAL, real email address. OF COURSE, you get more spam. You are causing it! And by the way, there is no such thing as the British Lottery Commission.

i get the same mail and i can't "spam" them either, the emails just keep coming. i'm looking forward to all the answers.
