Who do I report a scam email to?

Who do you report a banking scam email too?

  • Over the last week Ive had 3 emails supposedly from the Royal Bank of Scotland digital banking service asking me to click on a link to verify me details. Im getting really fed up about them, and wondered what government/official site do you report them to? I know they are fake and Im not gonna do anything about it, but would like them stopped.

  • Answer:

OK, this is the way to report a suspected E-Mail scam. First when you open the E-Mail up and see that it is possibly a scam you click on FORWARD AS ATTACHMENT then type in the following E-Mail address <[email protected]> then it goes to a clearing house were it gets posted to a master list for everybody to see. This is how we let the scammers know it wont work. If we all do our part and not fall for these bogus letters of lottery winnings or the help us transfer funds and here's the best one of all the payment representative. This site I have just mentioned above is one of the best for the reporting and gathering of info for these scams it helps millions of people verify the legitimacy of certain E-Mails. Here is one more site I suggest you go to and read the blog about these different scams and were you can register to become a member and get up to date info and share your stories with others. <360.yahoo.com/strate820> the blog that is posted will give you a lot of GOOD info. Do walk, RUN to this site NOW.!

Royal Bank of Scotland should be informed, they will take the necessary procedures in catching & Maybe convicting the originators. i think with new windows Internet Explorer 7, you can report a phishing site too. yes on top task bar, tools, phishing filter, report this site..x

I return mine with the note telling them to urinate northwards or to copulate in another direction. No bank has ever written to me to complain about this!

Best thing to do is ignore the e-mails, and put the address on your spam, blocked mail list. RBS are well aware of whats going on, and probably are doing their best to counter it, but it takes time, and loads of people have informed them already.

They have been in circulation for many years - no need for you to do anything.
