How can I block someone from sending emails?

  • My baby Father sends me abusive emails. I need for the [email protected] to be block. i don't want his emails to come thru..

    Spamming his address WON'T block it-----you'll still get his emails----they will just be delivered to your Spam folder instead of your inbox. You need to block his address on your account. You can block an address and Yahoo will delete any future emails arriving from that address immediately----and you'll never see any of them. That email will NOT be returned to the sender (Yahoo deletes it), and they aren't notified that they have been blocked (for security reasons). They will think you're still getting their emails. Mail page>>options>>mail options>>Spam (from the list on the left)>>block addresses. Enter that exact address in the space provided>>click "add block">>then click "save changes" at the top of the page.

You can't actually stop someone sending emails you need to mark them as Spam in the toolbar just above the reading panel. Or you can block them in the Options/mail options/blocked people then put their address into the box provided and click on the + mark to finalise Have a good day
