I received an email threatening my life. I'm sure it's a scam, but who should I report it to?

This is the email: I was paid to kill you <[email protected]> wrote: you narrowly escape it the last time, but i assure you that this time you will not be that lucky.i will make sure i tell you good bye to ur urgly face before pulling the gun trigger this time. contacting the police,FBI or even leaving this country will not help you but only hasten me to carryout what hav been paid to do. I can only spear your life on one condition, if you are ready choose life rather than death by paying twice {*2} of the amount i was paid to carry out this job. if you feel i dont know you, then ask me questions about your most secret dealings which no body knows about and i will provide them without delay before attacking you. TELL ME NOW? ARE YOU READY TO DO WHAT I SAID OR DO YOU WANT ME TO PROCEED WITH MY JOB? Answer:
I just got the same email word for word, but for the life of me I am trying to rack my brains as to when the last time I narrowly escaped any kind of attempt on my life..... :) Judging from the lack of grammar and the poor spelling I would say this is a moronic idiot who has no life and is jacked up on booze, drugs or energy drinks, or any combination thereof. I have reported the idiot to Yahoo and hopefully they will ban his ***...

I recieved the same and had someone look into it. They weren't too bright. It took less than ten minutes to figure out that it is an e-mail from two people, one is a guy from the UK and the other is a guy from Romania. Neither took any pains to cover up their identity. They are clearly amatures and there is no reason to be alarmed or even reply to the e-mail unless of course, you wish to correct their poor spelling. Actually, I tried to contact one of the boys on their phone only to find the number is disconnected....such poor spelling.

Dude that stuff is messed up I'm not sure what to say about it but if it was me even if I thought it was spam would report it to somebody and see if they can trace the IP address to see who did it, to be on the safe side. Theses days there's no telling whether it's fake or not but whats up with the " Find the home of your dreams with eircom net property" at the bottom?

This is very serious. You should contact the police immediately and voice your concern. I doubt he will be very hard to trace, and he'll probably be in a nice cell before weekend is over.
