How do you delete categories?

How do I organize my email already received into different categories so I can bulk delete unwanted messages?

• I have way too many messages in my yahoo inbox but I don't want to delete all because there are messages in the mix that I want to keep. There are too many messages to check and delete page by page. Is there a way I can organize them by sender and then bulk delete by sender. These old messages already received.

  There is a way. Go to your inbox. You'll notice that above the top message exists a bar which says: From, subject, date, size. Choose (click) "from" to sort messages according to the sender. This will help you a lot. Also from now on, put some filters. Search fo the "options" button at the top-right part of the screen and from the drop down menu that you'll see choose "mail options". After the page loads choose from the left menu "filters". Read the description about what are filters.
