What time do royal mail and couriers stop delivering parcels on saturdays?

  • I purchased an item from someone on the 8th febuary 2012 only they have told me that its posted but I do not know who is delivering the item i dont know if its royal mail or courier. I have text the person but not getting any replies and they are not answering my calls, they did text me on the 9th febuary saying its been posted and you will receive it saturday at the latest and we are now on saturday and I've had nothing upto now so what time do companies stop delivering

    Hmm I'd start getting suspcious if I were you. The sender being so evasive and vague about posting your item would have me asking a few more questions. It's not brain surgery to post something and confirm with whom you sent it and when. Royal Mail will be pretty much done for Saturday deliveries now at 2pm

Normally the companies stop delivering up to about 13:30/14:00 although it is based on how fast the delivery driver gets his round done so if he has more parcels then he will be a little late. They can deliver up to late evening though with some companies. I wouldn't worry if I were you. I receive many parcels with couriers and they all come at different times on Saturdays, mostly morning but they have come in the evening.
