My hotmail says that my inbox is getting full, but I delete emails regularly...what should I do?

My hotmail says that my Inbox is getting full and that I need to go through and delete emails, but I delete my Inbox regularly. What should I do before I am unable to receive any more emails? I have literally gone through and deleted my Inbox, Outbox, and Deleted...I really cannot afford to not receive any emails from my Hotmail account...PLEASE HELP!

it's not the number of messages - it's the size. So if you have messages with large attachments, then you have to delete them.
