Definately do NOT reply to it, Yahoo would never ask you that stuff, and you would definately have an issue with a hacker after sending it. Even if it really was Yahoo, they wouldn't really have a reason for needing that information anyway.

Yahoo would not ask you for your personal information in an E-mail like that. It is a scam to get your personal information and/or money. Do not respond to it. Report it, forward it to the FTC at [email protected] and to the abuse desk of the sender's ISP. Also, if the email appears to be impersonating a bank or other company or organization, forward the message to the actual organization.

Scam!!!! That's a phishing email. Don't reply to the message and give out your personal information to total strangers or you'll risk losing your account to them. Remember that Y! doesn't send unsolicited emails to all its users, as the company already has that stored in its well-secured servers. Go here to report the message to Customer Care: http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/yahoomail/abuse.html Choose Password Phishing as the reason for the violation you're reporting on. Alternatively, you can also forward it to them-unedited and with full headers-at the following address: [email protected] After that, spam it straight into oblivion without delay.

SCAM. Yahoo would never ask you for your password or User name or ID. They have that in your system from when you registered your account http://security.yahoo.com/article.html?aid=2006111501 Forward this to Yahoo [email protected] http://security.yahoo.com/article.html?aid=2006102506
