What does processed mean in shipping?

Is shipping date the same as "shipped to your address"?

  • So I received this email from the company upon my delivery: Thank you for ordering from YouBars.com! Orders placed with RUSH PRODUCTION will be made and shipped within 2 business days from the date the order was placed. Otherwise, please know that your order will be processed and shipped to the address below no later than Wednesday, February 15th, 2012. I find out that my package hasn't even been picked up for delivery until the 15th. I email YouBar and get this reply: Please know that your order has a shipping date of 2/15, not a delivery date – our apologies for any confusion you may have experienced. The reason you received notification of the shipment on 2/8 however, is because we printed the shipping label ahead of the ship date. I personally do not think those two mean the same thing but just wanted to double check. For me, shipped to the following address means it's gotten there. Nowhere did it say that is was just a shipping date.

  • Answer:

Shipped to is the shipping date. It`s just confirming "shipping date is X and address it`s to be delivered to is Y" Their answer is correct - just be patient a little longer.
