How do I block emails that do not have an address in the To: field?
-
I keep receiving emails about winning money or that someone needs money from random people. I've noticed that none of the emails have my address (or any email) address in the To: field. Is there a way to block emails that aren't directly sent to my email address?
-
Answer:
Create a filter (options/filters) on the to/cc field sending everything not containing your email address to the trash. It does not mention bcc so you will have to test it to see if it works. §
