How do you verify an MSN (Hotmail) account?

Stupid hotmail account, any help please?

Some automated bot has been hacking into my Hotmail and MSN account sending spam and adverts to people. I can't believe that some companies could go and make life harder for everyone else just to send some stupid advert. So now I can't sign in because Hotmail "noticed to unusual activity" from my account. So when I click to verify my account it says that "There was a problem and unfortunately, we have to ask you to sign in again. We're sorry for the inconvenience." So I go and sign in again, and the same error comes up. I've followed all their stupid advice - reset my password - contacted their "help line" But it now says: "We're unable to complete your request. Windows Live ID is experiencing technical difficulties. Please try again later." And now, here I am... still can't sign into my account. Anyone know what I can do?

Use Yahoo or Google for your mail and browsing, at least their systems offer secure filters easy to set up, and then ditch the hotmail account. Good luck
