How do I block my email address?

Do AT&T and SBCglobal block email address or websites? And if so than how do I remove these blocks?

• I have a sbcglobal.net email address and I was wondering if AT&T was blocking some email form even reaching your spam folder. I have requested that www.petitionspot.com send me a “password recovery email” many times on my AT&T email account and they have to other email addresses (only one request necessary for other email accounts) but not to my AT&T email address. The only explanation I can think of is that AT&T is blocking there emails. On other email address I can find there emails in my spam folder but I can’t find there email in the spam folder on my AT&T email address. I called AT&T to ask if they blocked any email addresses and they said no, but I don’t believe them because of the above. If they are how do I go about having them remove these blocks when they have a hard time understanding what I am talking about. Is there someway I can direct them on what to do or is there a word(s) for what they are doing and what they need to access so that I can get this matter resolved. I want back into my account.   No, they do not block any mail or mail from certain addresses unless you instruct them to do so in your settings. I would tell you to check your 'spam' folder, but you claim they are not there. So, I would suggest that you go in and check your settings, as you may have the 'spam;' folder being deleted immediately. Look for and click on 'Options' in the top right corner of mail screen. Options/ mail options Click on 'spam' in the list on the left hand side of screen You can change your settings for 'Empty Spam folder' there, in third line down. When done, click on the 'Save changes' link at top left of screen
