Where do I go if I am having trouble with my E-mail?

How do we go about getting these people, who send email scam from other countries into trouble?

  • I have been getting scam after scam sent to me with lottery winners, or found money in your name. How are these people allowed to do this, how do we stop it. There has to be some way of traceing them and serving justice to them. What can i do to get them to stop sending that crap?

Forward them to the "Internet crime complaint center" at ic3.gov. You may never see immediate resolution but forwarding to them and they can compile a list. REport it as spam to your internet provider.

I send all scam e-mails to "reportphishing@ antiphishing.org". I seldom get a second e-mail from the same scammer.

First you have to determine from what country the person is from. I can state that i am from Iran. But am I? The one scam I know of the person said he was from a poor African country and it turned out after tracing the Isp address to America. Then are we going to bomb America after all there is all there.

Pick your battles wisely because you can't win them all. Don't open every single email you get, especially if you know it's an address you don't know. Don't worry about them...those scams will never go away. Just like mosquito's and Bees.
