How To Unblock Facebook Server?

I need to unblock a website ?

  • My boss has blocked Facebook as i use it a little too much. I want to know how to unblock it. Its a small office with 2 computors in it, his being the 'server computor'. I have unlimited access to his computor and he's never here so would never notice if i unblocked it. Anyone know how to unblock it ? its blocked by NETGEAR firewall. A black and red screen appears and says blocked. Anyone help, im so bored without f'book!!!

    You cant unblock it, your boss says no he means no and can sack you quite legitimately for abusing your rights of access to the internet. As you say, there is a credit crunch and there is no work, so why are you not using your computer skills, if you actually have any, to promote the business? Sounds to me like the office is overstaffed by 1 and that is you. Then you can go and be bored at home and go on face-book as much as you like. I would have sacked you on the first occasion that I caught you on it as you are either neglecting your duties or you blatantly just don't want to do the job.

Hi. Two words: Proxy Server. A couple of minor points though. 1. By-passing a blocked site could be considered a violation of the companies computer use policy and get you an official warning, or worse on your record. 2. He has (by the sounds of it) warned you about this and then blocked the site. You getting around the block can then be considered gross misconduct and get you fired. 3. If you're bored, read a dictionary or learn how to use a spell checker (hint) or (shock-horror!) work. This will get you promoted to a position that gets you access to a computer that's not blocked. :o)
