Email address keep sending out random emails to my contacts?

My yahoo mail is sending strange emails to my contacts. How do I change my email address n keep saved emails?

  If you abandon your account the spammer may continue to spam your contacts. Start by changing your password. Also check to see if the spammer has planted an alternate contact email address. That could be used to retrieve your new password. Abstain from clicking links within spam. Many can run malicious scripts that tell logged-in webmail to spam the address book. If you want to start a new address: Give it about a week to be sure spammers don't already have the address. Sometimes an address becomes available because a previous user abandoned it to the spammers. Notify your contacts of the new address. Forward important emails to your new address. Copy your address book, preferably to a text file. Empty all your mailboxes in the old account. Empty your address book in the old account.
