How do you block someone on Yahoo Messenger?

How do i block someone on yahoo messenger on my email?

• whenever i check my yahoo mail, my messenger is open and this random person keeps trying to talk to me. i don't want to just sign off of it, i want to remain signed onto my messenger chat thing so i can talk to my cousins. but this random person is saying inappropriate things and they do it almost every time i sign on and i need to block them but i don't know how! it's very frustrating. please help!!!

  Next time when You get the msgs or IM's from that person or any other who tries to disturb you, have a look at the chat window, you will get a 'block' or 'spam' option, click on it, it will block that person from your messenger and he or she will not be allowed to chat with you again and you wont get any emails from their ids again.
